Prices start at $4000 for a private room and bath.

Included in the cost of Room & Board is the following:

• Meal preparation three times a day plus snacks.
• Light housekeeping.
• Transportation and some chaperone service to medical appointments.
• Grocery shopping and mall visits.
• Laundry services.
• Assistance with self-administration.
• Bathing, dressing and feeding services are available for semi-independent Seniors through third-party personal care providers that are licensed and certified.
• Assistance with self-administration.
• Air conditioned rooms.
• Private exits in all rooms.
• Daily pharmacy pick-up.
• Personal scheduling for medical appointments and doctor portals.
• Gym equipment such as stationary cycling and dumbbells available.
• Bedside portable commode in-room available when requested.
• Residents are encouraged to furnish with personal items, but furniture is available.
• Entertainment includes a private large screen television per room with Dish satellite, Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount and Internet access. Includes popcorn and soda on demand.

Security

• Security cameras in every room and baby monitor (not in bathrooms).
• Three alarm stations when windows & doors are opened.
• We welcome families to provide their own camera as well.

This is perhaps the most important of all our services, because planning medical visits and communicating with your doctor's medical staff can be time consuming and often times technologically challenging to our residents. Logging into the doctor's website to complete a medical history form before the visit can be complicated, including emailing or faxing the paperwork.  

From waking you up ahead of time, to transporting and accompanying you to your appointment and back, we are there for you from start to finish with up to two visits a month to medical appointments, blood draws, and other exams included in the price.  More than two medical visits per month is a $50 charge per trip. We help fill out the medical forms in the doctor portals online, before arriving at the appointment. There is not extra charge for Pharmacy pick up.

Compliant with Health and Human Services

Big Creek Senior Living is compliant with TX HB2510. Texas House Bill 2510 makes it a criminal offense to provide personal care services to residents without the proper license unless Home Health or Personal Care Assistants are hired.  Hospice can also offer continuous care along with the PCA. We are also excited to announce that we are in the process of obtaining licensure as an assisted living before end of year. 

Boarding homes and unlicensed staff are allowed to provide assistance to capable adult seniors with self-administration of medication in the following manner:

• Reminding residents to take their medication.
• Opening and removing medications from a container.
• Placing medication in the resident's hand or on a clean surface.
• Reminding residents when a prescription needs to be refilled.
• To receive this assistance, residents must be able to identify their medication and know when to take it.
